Artist image research- Star Image

I believe jamie T does not conform to typical generic conventions of a star, i believe he holds a much more individual and unique style representing normality over being a star. for example when put into comparisent with Liam Gallager a star from the indie/rock genre of music.

As you can see from the photos Jamie T does not hold that key star image of most genric indie/alternative bands such as oasis. Jamie has a very simplistic style but holds a high level of individuality as he does not conform to young popular male fashion e.g indie, but holds a style that brings in different wear from various scences such as ounk, urban and indie.

The reason for his low key fashion, could be due to the individuality of his music and his independence as an artist. As his fashion and style of music keep him disfranchised from the generic styles of stars and music. Thus making Jamie T unique but also recongnisable.

The reason we chose Jamie T is that the points above make it very exciting for me as a person and the group when coming to create our own artist as Jamie's individuality can be heard from his music, therefore giving us the basis to create a highly unique star with and individual style to coenside with the genre of the music. Signifying to the audience an apporachable star which will allow us to sell Freddy to the audience.
